Yellow, yellow, yellow……yellow is hope and happiness. yellow is cheerful, yellow is sunshine. This is my first MEME’s for the today so obviously its Monday.

A lot of people think they don’t like yellow, but I wish they would give the color another chance.  And take a good look around them.  Chances are, they’re surrounded by yellow. But yellow is one of the three colors in the lower half of the visible spectrum, and is known as a warm color and has a stimulating effect. It is the color of the intellect and can be very helpful with  study and where concentration is required. On the physcho- spiritual level, yellow relates to self worth. How we feel others perceive us. This the area of the personality, the ego and the intellect and of self confidence. In additional yellow can help us to meditate.They may actually like things that are yellow, but be “soooo over” yellow color trends of past decades that they have dismissed an amazing color based on old experiences.Of course, I had another professor who said “rule. of. thumb.  What I’ve taken from that is “go ahead and use yellow, apply good design principles, and remember that ‘rules’ don’t always apply”.
